Longtime San Luis Valley resident Jacqualine Paulette McCombs, 73, passed away on July 23, 2020. She was born on July 24, 1946 in Rochester, New York to Alton D. and Betty Lou (Baker) McCombs. She enjoyed fishing, barbecuing and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Jacqualine is survived by her children; Edith Ann (Geoffrey) Cesare of North Carolina, David A. Strank, Jr (Leora Elaine Hamaker) of Alamosa, Kristie Lee (Harry) Mason of Mosca, grandchildren; Kevin (Tammy), Katie, Allison, Michael David Strank, Eric Sutton, Codee Sutton, Breanna Gordon, Willow McCombs, Amanda (Eddie) Garcia, Ashley Gutjhar, Cristen Garrett, Stephanie Garrett and Dale Garrett, great grandchildren; Hayden, Caylon, Kassandra, Emma, Kinzie, Alisyn, Dave, Adelynn, Karly, Kimberly and Michael as well as numerous others, her siblings, Virginia (Jim) Campbell and Denise Wadsworth, LuAnn (Neil) Williams and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband David Strank, Sr.
