Obituary for Helen C. Dansby

Longtime valley resident Helen C. Dansby, 75, passed away on January 27, 2022 in Alamosa, Colorado at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on August 29, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to Stanley and Thea (Rosenberg) Adler and was the oldest of four siblings.

Helen was very involved in the ministries of the Presbyterian Church, she was often found donating her time at the used clothes store, the infant ministry, providing receiving blankets and clothes to families with newborn babies and the Christmas Store. She also enjoyed reading, dancing, taking long walks, playing Bingo, shopping and making those around her happy.

Helen is survived by her daughter Alissa (Kenneth) Jolly of Frisco, Texas, her grandson David “DJ” (Lily) Jolly, great grandchildren, Sage Liam Jolly and Kieren Drake Jolly, her siblings, Leonard Adler of Las Vega, Nevada and Marjorie Healey of Alamosa, Colorado, her nieces and nephews, Nicholas Adler, Stanley (Amanda) Adler, Jessica (Aaron) Rooks, Thea Healey, Christine Healey and Deborah Healey as well as numerous extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde F. Dansby, and her brother Charles T. Adler.

Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Preston Ridge Church, 5849 Hillcrest Rd., Frisco, TX 75035. To express condolences, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
