Obituary for Haley Rae Quintana (Jackson)
Haley Rae Quintana, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 39. Born on July 2, 1984, in Alamosa, Colorado, to Charlie and Judy Jackson, Haley's vibrant spirit brought joy to all who knew her.
Haley's life was a testament to her adventurous and loving nature. She moved to Arizona and married Ronald Boehm in 2005 with 3 children being born to this union. Ronald passed away 2013. Haley then returned to live in Alamosa after his death.
In 2015, she met her future husband, Jeremy Quintana. They were married in May of 2015. She shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband and together they blended a family that was the center of her world. She was a cherished mother to Kaidence, Brooklyn, and Samuel Boehm, and a stepmother to Jace and Jayla Quintana, all of whom she adored and supported in every endeavor. Her love extended to her parents Charlie and Judy Jackson of Alamosa; her grandmother, Georgia Mauth of Alamosa, and her siblings, Heidi (Michael) Walker of Albuquerque, N.M, Connie (Michael) Slade of Spanish Forks, UT, Tassie (Chris) Crowder of Monte Vista, Melissa (Brandon) Medina of Alamosa, CO, and Kim (Dale) Jordan of Alamosa, CO. and numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss her deeply.
Haley went to school in Alamosa graduating from Alamosa High school, in 2003. She graduated from the University of Phoenix, in 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree in Education, a field where she could share her passion for learning and creativity with others. Her interests were as diverse as her talents, ranging from watching sporting events, especially those involving her family, to expressing her artistic side through acrylic painting. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as getting her nails done, driving her truck, and indulging in arts and crafts.
A collector of crystals and a fan of scary movies, Haley knew how to balance her interests with a sense of fun. She was competitive at heart, whether playing cornhole or engaging in board games of any kind. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enthusiasm for hunting, camping, hiking, and riding four-wheelers. She also had a humorous side, often making light-hearted jests about her husband Jeremy's Ford trucks.
Haley's nurturing spirit shone through in the care she took of her flowers and the time she spent outside, embracing the beauty of nature. Her parents-in-law, Leroy and Sally Quintana, brothers-in-law Jared (Linda Silva) Quintana and Jason (Ashley) Quintana, along with many extended family, and friends, will forever hold memories of Haley's loving, adventurous, and creative soul in their hearts.
Haley chose to be an organ donor to honor her daughter Brooklyn. Who had been a recipient of donated organs herself. Due to this decision, (4) separate individuals have benefited from her selfless gift.
Haley is preceded in death by her first husband Ronald Boehm; her grandfather Rudy Mauth, her grandparents Eldon and Nola Jackson, her aunt Veretta Jackson, and her brother-in-law Kourtney Lake.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Rock Creek Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3rd and Richardson Streets, in Alamosa. Interment will follow services in the Uracca Pioneer Cemetery on Mount Blanca.
