Valley resident Gustavo Arias Morales, 56, passed away on August 12, 2013 in Alamosa, Colorado. He was born on June 29, 1957 in Michuacan, Mexico to Salvador Arias and Guadalupe Morales. He enjoyed Las Chivas Rallados del Guadalajara, telling stories to his children and giving kisses to his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Maria Delores de Arias, his children; Francisco Arias Chavez and Maria Miriam Escovedo all of Alamosa and Samuel (Jamie) Hernandez of Hooper, eight grandchildren and his siblings; Jose Arias Morales, Ofelia de Vaca, Manuel, Teresa, Pablo, Jerardo lalo and Raquel.
Cremation was selected and a Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday August 17, 2013 at the Church of the Living God in Hooper, Colorado. Contact the family for additional information.
