Georgia Marie Monter age 81, passed away peacefully Monday July 29, 2019, she was born in La Jara, CO in 1938 to Gilbert and Harriet Anderson. Georgia graduated from Hooper High School in 1957. She married Robert Monter in 1958 and had a wonderful family. Georgia was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and Great-grandma.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Harriet Anderson, her husband Robert Monter, her brothers Hilt, John and James Anderson. She is survived by her children Rose Ann (Wayne) Hensley of Johnstown NE, Susie Hawkins of Manassa CO, Mike Monter of Gunnison CO, John Monter of Grand Junction CO, Betsy (Brian) Fernelius of Romeo CO, and Brenda (Doug) Cooper of Monte Vista CO. 12 grandkids and 29 great-grandkids.

A visitation will be held August 1, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa Co. Services will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manassa Co. at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Sanford Cemetery.
