After reading of Carlyle's life I learned that he and I share birthdays. February 6. .  He is exactly one year older than I.  Over the years that we spent the summer months at our cabin on La Manga we enjoyed and appreciated our association with him and Barbara each Sunday at church services in Fox Creek.   With few exceptions he was present each Sunday to greet us, shake our hand and welcome us to church.  He will forever be remembered for being the  good man that he was and especiallly for his invaluable contribution to the progress of the Fox Creek Branch.
