Obituary for Debbie Terrill

Longtime Alamosa resident Deborah Lavern Terrill, 70, passed away on July 7, 2022. She was born on February 27, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Bill and Maddie (Breeze) Eldridge and grew up in the Jemez mountains. She married Michael Wesley Terrill on July 5, 1986 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Together they owned and operated Terrill Trucking. Debbie took a lot of joy in helping manage the business and keeping great relationships with the customers. She was an avid quilter and crafter. Debbie enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and exploring the mountains. She loved her horses and dogs, but above all else, she truly cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Mike Terrill, her step-son Gary (Sheila) Terrill, step-daughter Brenda Terrill, sons Glenn (Lisa) Barber, Justin (Sheila) Barber and daughter Dee (Cody) McClain, sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, her brother Burt (Ruth) Eldridge as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her step-son Ryan Terrill, grandson Jeremy Conklin, her sister Billie Ree Lee and her brother Jimmy Dale Eldridge.

Cremation was selected and a celebration of life gathering will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday July 14, 2022 at the family’s residence located at 7503 South Road 102 in Alamosa. To express condolences to the family, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
