David Lee Jackman , 66 , passed away Thursday, October 8th, 2015 in Villa Grove Colorado.

David was born June 5th, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Herbert Jackman and Shirley Davis Jackman.

David honorably served his country in the Army. Following his service in the military David worked as a road maintenance worker for Colorado Department of Transportation. He worked for 27 years and retired from Saguache County Road and Bridge. David enjoyed his many odd jobs, masonry, printing, welding and metal work. He also took a lot of enjoyment in cutting metal silhouettes with his plasma torch machine. He was a life member of the American Legion Garcia Post in Saguache and of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his children, DeAnn Chenowith of Aurora and David Ray Jackman of Villa Grove and his brother Donald L. Jackman of Villa Grove.

David is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Daniel Jackman

Cremation was selected and private services will be held at a later time.
