Obituary for Charlotte Orth

Charlotte Huntley Orth passed away at the San Luis Valley Health Regional Medical Center in Alamosa from injuries in an auto accident on August 9, 2017.

She was born on November 13th, 1943 in Austin, Texas to Charles and Josephine Huntley. She got her teaching degree from Bryn Mawr College and loved working with children. While teaching school in Valentine, Texas, she met her husband, Edward H. Orth, and they were married June 25th, 1977. She and her husband had three children. She loved singing, music and was a student of the Bible.

Charlotte is survived by her husband Edward H. Orth, her two sons, John Edward Orth and Daniel Charles Orth, four grandchildren and her sister Joan Huntley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Traci Ann Orth.

Cremation was selected and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 29th, 2017 at the Sargent Community Church.
