Obituary for Carlyn Lou Clark
Carlyn L. Clark, 84, of Del Norte, Colorado passed away on January 8, 2022 in La Jara, Colorado.
Carlyn was born September 12, 1937 in Wray, Colorado to Vaughn and Dorothy Sheesley. She graduated from Center High school in 1956. on September 8, 1957 she married Donald Clark. With this marriage she gained three children, Jack, Jeanette and Donna. Three years later they had Terry. She worked at various jobs with the last being a pet sitter.
She loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing and rock hunting. She loved birds and watched them outside her window everyday. She loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles. Carlyn loved watching the Broncos. The whole neighborhood knew every time they scored. Most of all, she loved the Lord and all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carlyn was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Dorothy Sheesley, her husband Don Clark, her son Jack Clark, her daughter Jeanette Barros and her brother David Sheesley.
She is survived by her son Terry (Karen) Clark of Del Norte, daughter Donna (Al) Ockstadt of Colorado Springs, a brother Dan (Amy) Sheesley of Lewes, DE, a brother Donald (Jean) Snyder of Grand Junction, CO as well as 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Cremation was selected and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Joseph Prince Ministries, Inc. at PO Box 2115 Fort Mills, South Carolina 29716or Ron Carpenter Ministries at PO Box 641270 San Jose, California 95164.
