Obituary for Betty Ann Dodd
Longtime Moffat resident Betty Ann Dodd, 91, died November 23, 2020 at the San Luis Care Center in Alamosa.
Betty was born on December 18, 1928 in Salida, Colorado the daughter of Corval and Mae Everson Dodd. She was raised in the Moffat are for most of her life and worked raising goats. She enjoyed outdoor wood working with her father and made several different wood toys, plaques and trinkets over the years. She also liked to paint. Betty was a member of the Crestone Baptist Church and taught Sunday School at the Moffat Community Church.
She is survived by her cousins Harold and Edna Bennett of Moffat; Robin Kocerha of Moffat and her children Yancy Mann of Texas, Quinton Mann of Center, CO and Felicia Kocerha of Pueblo, CO.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Corval and Mae and an infant brother.
Cremation was chosen and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
