Obituary for Anaiah Quintana

La Jara resident infant Anaiah Rose Marie Quintana, 1, died February 3, 2023 at the Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs.

She was born in Alamosa, Colorado on February 26, 2021 to Armando Quintana and Dreamishia R. Guerrero.

Anaiah loved spending time with her family and playing with her brothers and sisters, her cousins, and being with her Daddy. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and could light up a room with her happy disposition and beautiful smile. Anaiah liked to watch Coco Melon and Little Angels on television. Her favorite foods were spaghetti, cheese, Pepsi soda, Snickers bars, Kit Kat, Reese’s, and especially suckers.

Anaiah is survived by her parents Armando Quintana and Dreamy Guerrero; her siblings Uriah Guerrero, Lillyanna Quintana, and Destiny Guerrero; her paternal grandparents Lee and Connie Quintana of Antonito, CO, and maternal grandparents Jesus and Paulann Guerrero; her aunts, uncles and god-parents Julia Quintana, Nate Jacquez, Randy (Shelby) Maes, Natiera Martin, Neveah Guerrero, Devin Guerrero, and Frank Velasquez; her great-grandmother Patsy Garcia; as well as numerous great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, and extended family.

Anaiah is preceded in death by her grandmother Valorie Martin, uncle James Lucero, great-grandparents Deluvina Modesto Quintana, and Julia and Alfredo Martinez.

A Visitation will be held at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Rosary 7:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2023 also at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos. Interment will follow services in the Las Mesitas Cemetery.
