Obituary for Allan Gene Thorsgaard
Alamosa resident Allan Gene Thorsgaard, 82, passed away on February 9, 2021. He was born April 1, 1938 in Bottineau, North Dakota to Hans and Mimi (Lervik) Thorsgaard. Allan served his country in both the United States Navy and United States Airforce. For about 30 years, he was a court reporter in the United States Air Force, a job he truly loved. After retiring from the Air Force, he managed the Sherriff’s Department in Belen, New Mexico. Allan enjoyed reading, photography, skeet shooting and playing golf.
He is survived by his daughter Allison (Ty) Cotton of Alamosa.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Andrea, three sisters Rosemary, Yvonne, Betty and two brothers Harvey, Marlin, and second wife Benji Pungpit.
