A. Jayson Eric  Chavez
A. Jayson E. Chavez, 61, Alamosa resident passed away January 5, 2018 at his Home in Alamosa.

Jayson was born in Alamosa, Co. on June 27, 1956 to Adelaido L. Chavez and
Maria Teresa Martinez. He graduated from Centauri High School, La Jara, Colorado in 1974. Continuing his Education for a year at Adams State.

Jayson was employed for Walmart in Alamosa as a Sales Associate until his illness prevented him from doing so on December, 2014. He liked working the Night Shift. Jayson loved helping others and lending a hand when and where it was needed. He had also worked at Rainbows End and La Puente for many years, as Assistant Manager, prior.

Jayson lived a quiet life after his illness, his Faith and God were part of his everyday life.

Jayson is survived by his two Siblings, Edna Espinoza-Roberts (Kevin) of Albuquerque, NM; Dolores Pacheco (Donald), Bosque Farms NM. Nephews, Gerald Espinoza(Viola) Belen, NM, Mark Espinoza, Albuquerque, NM; Great Nephews, and Niece, Gerald, Elias, and Rianne Espinoza; Niece, Leah Pacheco-Nkbengeshe, Great Niece Madyson Nkbengeshe; Great Nephew Christopher Horton; Niece Josette Chavez, and Great Nephew Logan Dickson.

Jayson is preceded in death by Parents, Sister Marian Chavez, and Nephew Carl Pacheco, as well as his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents and numerous Uncles and Aunts.

A special Thank you to his Landlord Don from Gobins, Anthony Valdez, for the Good care, and checking on him when we couldn’t. To Don Pacheco and Josette for all your tremendous help. And to Vicki and Jim Alire, our Sister and Brother in law. Thank You.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held at a Later Date.
