Faye E. Gibson, 70, was called home to her Heavenly Father on June 5, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ellwood City, Pa. to Walter Howard Moore and Lois Eveline McQuiston. She met her soulmate on a blind date in the August of 1965 and was married to Leon D. Gibson on November 8, 1965 in Hunter, Utah. They raised three wonderful children; Nancy Gibson, Walter (Lonny) Gibson, and David Gibson.

Faye loved to crochet, she made baby blankets for the last fifteen years for all the babies born into the Alamosa 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, as well as many others. She also made hats and scarves for 500 people every year to donate to La Puente from Santa, for adults and children alike. She worked in the Albuquerque Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for over eight and a half years with her love, Leon Gibson. She loved playing bingo, cards, and dominos. She would help anyone she could. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a true friend that will be missed by all that knew her.

Faye is survived by her loving husband, Leon Gibson. Her daughter, Nancy Gibson. Her sons; Lonny (Tina) Gibson of Kearns, Utah. And David (Robin) Gibson of Murray, Utah. Her grandchildren; Michael (Misty) Keener of Utah, Cody Duncan of Utah, Matthew Levorsen of Alamosa, Sara Levorsen of Alamosa, Chase (Asia) Stoddard of Utah, Kendra Lindsey of Utah, Ashlee (Justin) Graves of Utah, Lorenzo (Jessica) Gibson of Utah, and Zach Orme of Utah.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, mother, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loved family and friends.

There will be a visitation at Rogers Family Mortuary of Alamosa on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alamosa located at 3rd and Richardson from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. also at the Church located at 3rd and Richardson. She will be laid to rest on Monday, May 11th at 11:00 A.M. at Valley View Memorial Cemetery in Utah with a viewing being held at 10:00 A.M.
