Herbert Leon  Lanier
Herbert Leon Lanier, 59, passed away on May 19, 2018. He was born on April 5, 1959.

He worked as a forklift driver, roofer, farmer and a mechanic, where he loved to work on old cars. He was a perfectionist in every way. He was active in sports, he loved playing baseball and football and was an all state football player. He loved his dogs and cared about people and helped out whenever he was asked to. Fishing was also a hobby that he enjoyed.

Herbert is survived by his two brothers, James (Rose) Lanier, Robert Lanier, his one loving sister Linda (Dennis) McAvoy and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Mildred Lanier, his brothers David, Albert, Michael, Glenn, his sisters Norma Jean, Betty, Barbara and Alyene (James Ford).

He will be missed by many cherished family and friends. See you in Heaven brother!

Cremation was chosen and a graveside of ashes will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Alamosa Cemetery.

Arrangements are in care of Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa.
